Travel with Blue-Water Pursuits
If you are an adventurer at heart, Blue-Water Pursuits will fulfill even your most exotic dive travel fantasies. Clearly, we have found the key to travel and that is to visit before the masses do, travel light, keep an open mind and relax and enjoy the moment....Where the reefs are pristine and the water clear, that is where you will find Blue-Water Pursuits. Not only do we travel to some off the beaten track and remote spots, we still revisit some of the more popular dive destinations as well. Blue-Water Pursuits has a pre-trip meeting, to let our guests get to know each other and to learn about all of the necessary details. After that, your only job is to show up at the airport and enjoy the adventure, leaving all of the details to us.
The diving environment is always our primary reason for visiting a new destination but an optional land tour extends the adventure far and beyond one's expectations. Blue-Water Pursuits has led dive trips to Cocos Island off Costa Rica as well as extensive trips in the interior of the country. Belize and the Bay Islands off of Honduras have found them on a couple of occasions. They have taken groups to Turks and Caicos, Galapagos Islands, the Red Sea, the Kona Coast in Hawaii and the islands of Fiji. We have travelled to Palau, Truk Lagoon and the Sea of Cortez. We lead annual trips to the Channel Islands.
Land tours in the past have included adventures such as cruising down the Nile River for one week stopping along the way to explore the temples, tombs, the Valley of the Kings and Queens as well as the Pyramids and the bazaar in Cairo. In Costa Rica, we have led white water rafting expeditions, bathed in waterfalls, and explored the uninhabited island of Cocos. One of our groups went camping and hiking in the lush rain forests of Honduras as well as exploring the Mayan ruins of Copan. We have canoed down Amazon tributaries, hiked through thick jungle and explored the Andean mountains of Ecuador. We have explored the ruins of Chichen Itza in Mexico and enjoyed the night life of Cozumel. The Belize Zoo, the jaguar sanctuary as well as the ruins of Xunantunich in Belize were on the Belize dive trip itinerary. Our land tours are always packed with various activities such as mountain bike riding, horseback riding, camping, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, and even tractor rides through 2 feet of mud! You will find that there is never a lack of adventure. There is a healthy balance, however, that includes good old-fashioned relaxation.
